All Leaders should by now have received details about this year's Confido Camp at Moor House for Scouts and Explorers over the weekend of 7-9 October.
The deadline for bookings at the discounted price has been extended to 23 September and ALL bookings will close on 30 September. This is a hugely popular camp for our Scouts and Explorers so let's see all in Gateshead being given the opportunity to experience it.

Well done to Scout and Explorer teams from 5th Birtley, 7th, 31st, 32nd and 39th who took part in this year's Dyvels Hike. As ever this was a challenging test of Expedition and Scouting skills and teams showed a very high standard.
Day 1 saw teams carrying full kit depart from Blanchland and hike to the overnight stay at Dilston. Sunday saw a circular walk from there finishing in Corbridge, with a grand total of 21 miles walked in very hot and difficult conditions. Everyone who took part deserves congraulation for their skill and stamina. Thanks also for the large adult team who organised and supported this activity.
The new trophies for this event have been dedicated to the memory of Paul Sergison and they will provide a lasting memory of his contribution to Gateshead Scouts.
Special congratulations to this year's winners;

Explorer section 7th Gateshead
